Insurance FAQs

Do I have to use the panel beater my insurance recommends?

No. According to South African law, you have the right to choose your own repairer. If you prefer DSPP, simply inform your insurance assessor or broker that you want your vehicle repaired at our facility.

What is an excess and who pays it?

An excess is the first portion of a claim that the client is liable for. You pay this directly to DSPP when collecting your repaired vehicle. The insurance covers the rest.

Will my warranty be affected?

Not at all. Because we hold over 26 OEM manufacturer approvals and use only genuine parts, your factory warranty remains completely intact. For new vehicles, we even coordinate with the dealer to reinstate the warranty before release.

How long will my repair take?

Repair times depend on the severity of the damage and parts availability. Once the quote is approved, we provide an estimated completion date and keep you updated via SMS at every stage.

Need to Start a Claim?
