Our entire staff complement of 45 employees hails from previously disadvantaged communities. We actively prioritize the employment of disabled persons and females as appropriate positions become available.
Community Upliftment
We contribute financial support to various community-based organizations on a sustainable project basis, focusing on restoring the dignity of the beneficiaries.
The W.O.W Centre
We proudly support the W.O.W Centre, which provides a daycare and aftercare feeding program for the children of Wentworth. Ensuring kids are fed and cared for is vital for the future of Durban South.
Local Schools Fundraising
DSPP regularly donates to local schools in Prospecton, Isipingo, and Wentworth to assist with fundraising initiatives. We believe that education is the cornerstone of community development.
Sustainable Projects
Our approach focuses on contributing to projects that restore the dignity of beneficiaries through teaching them how to fish rather than giving them a fish. We empower, not just donate.
Apprenticeship Programs
We provide in-house apprenticeships and learnerships for youth from previously disadvantaged backgrounds, giving them the skills needed to build long-term careers in the automotive industry.
Sub-Contracting to Black Companies
DSPP is fully cognisant of the challenges faced by emerging black contractors and service providers. We are therefore committed to their upliftment through targeted procurement and utilisation of their services.
We actively source parts, consumables, and sub-contract services from black-owned businesses to promote economic participation.
