Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using our panel beating and spray painting services at Durban South Panel & Paint.

By engaging Durban South Panel & Paint ("DSPP", "we", "us") for any repair, towing, or assessment services, you ("the Customer") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.
All quotes provided by DSPP are estimates based on visible damage at the time of assessment. We reserve the right to revise the quote if hidden or structural damage is discovered during the dismantling or repair process. Any supplementary costs will be communicated to you or your insurance assessor for approval before the additional work begins.
If your repair is covered by insurance, DSPP will assist in submitting the claim. However, the ultimate contract for repair is between the Customer and DSPP. The Customer is solely responsible for the payment of their insurance excess. The vehicle will not be released until the excess has been paid in full, unless prior arrangements have been made with your insurer.
DSPP offers a 12-month workmanship guarantee on all structural and panel repairs. As a Standox-certified centre, we also offer a Lifetime Paint Warranty on all paintwork against peeling, fading, blistering, and discoloration. These warranties do not cover damage caused by subsequent accidents, negligence, improper maintenance, or natural disasters.
Vehicles are stored in our 2000m² secured yard with 24-hour security patrolling. However, vehicles must be collected within 7 days of notification that repairs are complete. DSPP reserves the right to charge a storage fee for vehicles left uncollected after 14 days. DSPP shall not be held liable for damage to unregistered or uninsured vehicles while in our care caused by events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters).
For private (non-insurance) repairs, a deposit may be required before work commences. The final balance must be settled in full before the vehicle is released. Accepted payment methods include EFT, credit card, and debit card. Cheques are not accepted.
While DSPP takes every precaution to care for your vehicle, we are not liable for pre-existing damage, mechanical failures unrelated to the accident, or items left inside the vehicle. We strongly recommend removing all valuables before handing over your vehicle.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
